Weekend crashes across South West Qld: Multiple drivers taken to hospital

From Millmerran to Roma, Queensland's emergency services were kept busy responding to a string of weekend incidents that left multiple people in hospital.

Emergency services were called to a number of incidents that happened at the weekend.

From Roma to Millmerran, crashes and house fires, here are the incidents that kept emergency services busy.

Millmerran

Two drivers walked away without serious injury after a car carrying a caravan collided into a truck in Millmerran.

The incident occurred about 6.40am on Saturday at the intersection of Campbell and Margaret streets.

The 35-year-old man who was allegedly driving the vehicle towing the caravan has been charged with unlawful use of vehicle, driving without due care, driving while relevant drug was in system, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils and pipe and possessing tainted property.

He is set to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday December 8.

Both drivers were assessed at the scene for minor injuries and declined transport.

Irvingdale

An 18-year-old man was involved in a single-vehicle rollover in Irvingdale on December 6.

The male rolled his Isuzu D-Max about 11.46pm on Dalby Nungil Rd. He was taken to Dalby Hospital with back neck and chest pain.

No one has been charged and investigations are ongoing.

Tara

A 41-year-old man crashed his Ford Ranger into trees after driving off the road.

The crash happened on Chinchilla Tara Rd about 10.57pm on December 6. He was taken to Tara Hospital in stable condition with minor injuries.

No one has been charged and investigations are ongoing.

Saint Ruth

A man in his 30s was taken to Dalby Hospital after a motorcycle crash on Worthingtons Rd about 7.20pm.

The male was reported to have abdominal injuries.

Roma

A man in his 40s was taken to Roma Hospital with head injuries after a motorcycle crash at Appleby Close about 6.14pm.

Nanango

A male in his 60s suffered back, hip and chest injuries after a ride-on mower rollover.

The rollover occurred at his private address at 9.16pm and he was taken to Kingaroy Hospital.

Warwick

A unit structure fire occurred at an abandoned roof complex on the corner of Percey and Albion streets about 11.09am.

A Queensland Police Service Spokeswoman said they believe the fire was suspicious and a crime scene has been declared.

No patients were reported and the fire was reported as subject to further investigation.

No charges have been made.

Kearney Springs

No patients were reported at a kitchen fire on Noll St about 6.40pm on December 6.

Glenlyon Dam

A teenage girl was taken to Texas Hospital after a water skiing incident at Glenlyon Dam near the Queensland-NSW border.

It was reported she was transported in stable condition with a back injury.
