The 2025 federal election has been called.
Which party will be elected? Who will lead the country?
They're some of the questions Australians are asking.
But the real question is where can you cast your vote and where can you get a democracy sausage?
Not many sausage sizzles have been announced yet but we’ll update this map as we know more.
There will be several ways to vote.
Polling place on election day: You can vote at any polling place in Victoria on May 3. Polling places are usually located at local schools, churches and community halls or public buildings. Check the map above to see what’s nearest to you.
Early voting: If you can’t get to a polling place on election day you might be eligible to vote at an early voting centre. These are open two weeks before polling day.
Postal voting: You might be eligible to apply for a postal vote if you can’t get to a polling place on election day.
Mobile voting team: AEC mobile voting teams visit many voters who can’t get to a polling place. Mobile voting teams will visit some residential care facilities and remote areas of Australia, as well as some homelessness services, some residential locations for people with disability and some prisons.
Interstate voting: If you are outside Victoria on election day, you must either vote at an interstate voting centre or you may vote by post or complete an early vote before travelling.
