Parents at an outer northern specialist school have raised concerns after the Herald Sun revealed allegations of “deplorable” student abuse and a teacher with a sexualised online presence.
One mother from Diamond Valley Specialist Development School called for principal Anthony Rosenthal to meet with parents on Tuesday.
“Everyone is shocked. I have a daughter who has been very happy but now I want to take her away,” she said.
“But where else do we take her? We are very concerned and confused about what to do.”
Parents said the situation was “beyond deplorable” and “disgraceful” in an online chat group.
A teacher at the school who was operating an Only Fans account has been the subject of a complaint to education authorities.
Sources linked to Diamond Valley Special Development School in Greensborough have complained to the Department of Education about a teacher “actively producing and selling adult content online” including “urine-related fetishes”.
The teacher is understood to still be employed at the school despite the serious complaint dating back to late February.
Those at the school raised urgent concerns about the online presence of the teacher, who has a social media account which makes reference to selling nudes for $5, stripping videos for $20 and “sexy explicit text chats for $1 a minute”.
The woman’s Only Fans account is alleged to have contained material showing the teacher cleaning up urine, which is part of her job working with vulnerable children at the school.
It is understood the Only Fans has since been deleted, but the X profile and posts are still accessible.
A source said the person who made the report thought the online material was “inappropriate”.
The teacher, who has been registered by the Victorian Institute of Teaching since 2013, also calls herself a “horny MILF who wants to tease and please you”.
In posts that date back five years, she posted “choosing (name removed) means choosing sexy”.
The complaint notes that the matter “constitutes a clear issue of professional misconduct and requires urgent investigation”.
The official complaint, which was also sent to the school principal, said the conduct was in violation of the teachers’ code of conduct, department policies and the Working with Children Act.
The department’s social media and professional boundaries policy notes that teachers “must ensure their online activities do not bring the department or school into disrepute” by engaging in unprofessional conduct.
A Department of Education spokesperson said: “The department is conducting further inquiries into the allegations raised.”
It is understood the issues have been raised previously with the staff member.
There is no evidence of content being filmed at the school and the department is undertaking further inquiries into the specific concerns raised in the complaint.
Education opposition spokeswoman Jess Wilson said the reports are “utterly appalling and will be deeply concerning to parents across the state”.
“A full investigation should be launched immediately with the teacher allegedly involved immediately suspended. If these reports are substantiated, their teaching licence must be immediately cancelled,” she said.
The school has also been accused of failing to respond to accusations of abuse against children in their care.
As the Herald Sun reported last week, one mother said her 14-year-old daughter with disabilities was allegedly sexually assaulted by a male peer twice last year.
The alleged assaults include trying to touch her inappropriately and trying to “coerce her into an empty classroom”.
