Man stabbed to death on Fowler St in Moe

Emergency services have descended on the Latrobe Valley town following the discovery of a man’s body.

A man is dead after a suspected stabbing at Moe in the Latrobe Valley.

Emergency services have descended on the scene, which is off Fowler St in the centre of town.

Police have sealed off the street and SES crews arrived at the scene just after 6pm to set up a tarp.

The investigation is ongoing.

A Morwell resident said they were walking to the Moe train station when they witnessed the scene unfold.

“Sirens were blaring everywhere, I couldn’t even see,” he said.

“A terrible tragedy for all those involved, no one deserves to go through that.

“It sometimes feels like wherever you go there’s always danger – and I definitely felt that – Latrobe Valley is just becoming too crime-packed, or maybe it always was.”
