Four of the Magpies’ biggest stars are taking their off-season adventures to new heights during a week-long trip to Dubai.
A group of Collingwood stars are taking their off-season adventures to new heights with a trip to Dubai.
Captain Darcy Moore, along with Josh and Nick Daicos and Isaac Quaynor, are part of a commercial visit to celebrate club sponsor Emirates and its partnership with the upcoming Australian Open tennis grand slam.
The quartet have so far visited Dubai’s old quarter and sampled the local cuisine, with a safari desert date to come, along with a look inside the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. During the week away they will also meet up with top Australian tennis player Alexei Popyrin who lives in Dubai.
“It’s really exciting, exciting for Darcy, Isaac, Nick and myself,’’ Josh said.
“Thirty years as a club with Emirates is an enormous partnership and I’m really excited to see Dubai and the great city that it is.
“It’s definitely comfortable up in the A380 and we’re enjoying, we’re looking forward to the trip that’s upcoming. You land in Dubai really fresh and ready to explore.”
The Daicos brothers soaked up the views at Atlantis The Royal upon arrival.
All four players have enjoyed holidays during their break since September’s heartbreaking preliminary final loss, with Nick just returning from his first time to London and Iceland.
They will be back at Magpies headquarters to kickstart their 2026 campaign from December 1, when they’ll join the rookies and young players who have already hit the track.
