Australian golfer Marc Leishman says he will give away free beer if he can pull off one of his greatest victories.
The 37-year-old is currently sitting in equal second at the US Masters tournament at Augusta National - with high hopes he can take home the prestigious green jacket.
If he does win he will be the second Australian ever to achieve the incredible feat.
To celebrate Marc will shout every single golf club in Australia his own handcrafted beer called Leishman Lager, which he launched in 2019.
Dad Paul Leishman of Warrnambool said while he was “very nervous” he was proud to see his son near the top of the scoreboard.
“I hope it all comes off,” he said. “He said he’s feeling good, took it easy in the week so he’s fresh.
“He’s hitting the ball good, the course is playing tough so obviously needs a few putts to drop.”
As part of his winning offer Marc will shout one slab of his crisp pale lager to every golf club in Australia – which equates to more than 1,800 golf courses.
If clubs do currently stock Leishman Lager he will give away 10 slabs of his beer to every club.
