It’s warming up and there’s no better time to plunge into the pool.
But pools can be dangerous for children. To shine a light on those who help teach children the essential skills of swimming, the Townsville Bulletin put a call out to readers asking which swim school they believed was the best in the city.
The Bulletin received hundreds of submissions which have been broken down into a shortlist below.
Samantha Rhodes nominated Little Snappers Riverway for helping her daughter in the pool.
“The girls at Little Snappers Riverway are fantastic and work with my daughter and move her up when she is ready. Her first swimming carnival at the beginning of the year she came in second place in her heat, made the relay team and the relay team came in second as well, all thanks to the girls at Little Snappers Riverway,” she said.
Glenn Buchanan Swim School also got multiple nominations.
“Both my children go to Glenn Buchanan Swim School and we have never needed to own a pair of floaties,” Michelle Clark said.
Ultimately it is now up to you to throw your support behind your favourite swim school. Vote for your favourite in the poll below.
