Townsville miracle babies - We are blessed that Dr Chang has supported us through our IVF journey. Our son is here thanks to Dr Chang's care and expertise. We were equally blessed that Dr Chang was our obstetrician and was there for his birth…. After so many years of IVF, it would have been hard to trust someone new. Dr Chang was there when he had to tell us we’d miscarried our first pregnancy with tears, and there for the joy and laughter in the delivery room for our miracle baby. He’s supporting us now as we try for a sibling…. And I’m going to really miss his support and knowledge if we are blessed again. Photo: Tammy McClymont

Townsville miracle babies - Like so many others we were blessed with Dr Chang also. We were very lucky (in IVF terms) as our one and only round of IVF resulted in one fresh transfer. Charlotte born in Jan 2018 and a frozen transfer, Camden born in November of 2019. We were blessed to have Dr Chang’s expertise and guidance through IVF, pregnancies and both deliveries. My partner and I were trying to conceive for 3.5yrs, in 2015 we started on our journey investigating as to why we were not conceiving and were referred to Dr Chang, unexplained infertility was the diagnosis. In 2016 we married and one month later started the IVF process and first time lucky, we were pregnant with our baby boy in July of 2107. We had great results with IVF and I truly thank Dr Chang and his team at QLD Fertility Group. We were the lucky ones as I know the journey isn’t as easy for most couples. The journey was a daunting one which was emotionally and physically draining, tests, appointments, the unknown, but we are now so blessed and happy. Photo: Kate Vaughan

Ben and I were married in 2008 we wanted to try for a family directly but it wasn’t happening I saw a gp they referred me to dr chang he was very direct and professional test results came back I had PCOS and we be good candidate for IVF. They managed to keep my boy Brennan in for 5 days and he was born prematurely 32 +1 ( 5 pounds) the rest is all history. That was the hardest day of my life leaving my baby in hospital. We called him Brennan as Brennan meant brave and that he was a very strong little baby. October 30th 2019 we used last embryo and thanks to Dr Chang again. My Lachlan came out on July 13 at 4oz.

Townsville miracle babies - Emerson and Xavier at birth and now. After 18 months of trying my husband & I decided to go & see Dr Chang. He was so lovely!! All his staff are wonderful & caring. From the beginning we both felt very confident & comfortable with him & his staff. We did 3 cycles of IUI which failed. Thankfully we got lucky on our first IVF cycle. It resulted in 6 embryos. 1 was transferred back in a fresh transfer which resulted in our daughter. I had placenta previa which Dr Chang diagnosed at 19 weeks. He immediately put me on bed rest & I honestly believe without his quick thinking & expertise we would’ve lost her then. When I was 36 weeks along I had a massive bleed & Dr Chang decided to do an emergency c-section. She was perfect!!! I lost a lot of blood though so needed several transfusions. Again I credit my quick diagnosis & recovery to Dr Chang. Fast forward 3 years. I had done 2 frozen cycles which had failed. On my 3rd cycle we got my son. Thankfully he was a text book pregnancy & delivery. Emerson turns 8 in January & Xavier turns 4 in November. Without Dr Chang we wouldn’t be a family. We are so incredibly blessed & grateful.
