The sentence for a man who was found guilty of the manslaughter of a motorcyclist has been postponed.

Gregory Clubb is set to be sentenced for his involvement in the death of Jennifer Board after the stolen car he was driving was being followed by a self-proclaimed vigilante driver that spun out and hit Ms Board on her bike.

The sentence was originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 23 however the matter was mentioned in Townsville Supreme Court on Tuesday where his legal council asked for an adjournment.

Defence barrister Ross Malcomson instructed by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Legal Services said the new date was due to the “number of charges and complexities of the charges”.

Clubb is scheduled to be sentenced for 44 charges total including unlawful use of motor vehicles, entering dwellings, arson, rioting and stealing.

Justice David North adjourned the sentence date to November 28.

Clubb was remanded in custody.
