Townsville rapist Zachary Trott has additional charge dropped in court
A convicted rapist imprisoned for his sickening behaviour has had a charge dropped in court.

A CONVICTED rapist who was jailed for his sickening behaviour towards women has had an additional charge dropped in the Townsville court.
Zachary William Trott, 25, was represented in the Townsville Magistrates Court by his defence barrister on March 31, charged with one count of observing or recording in breach of privacy – genital or anal region.

Police prosecutor Cody Rowe said the matter was dealt with by way of presentation in relation to other criminal matters finalised in the district court.
“The prosecution offer no evidence in relation to this matter,” Mr Rowe said.
Magistrate Kenneth Taylor discharged the matter.
A jury found Trott guilty of stalking and rape on March 18 after he was remanded in custody in June 2019.
He was jailed for five years with 656 days already served.
