Townsville Police arrest woman who reportedly stabbed a person during a fight on Stokes St

A woman has been arrested in Townsville’s CBD after reportedly stabbing someone during a fight.

A WOMAN has been arrested in Townsville’s CBD after reportedly stabbing someone during a fight.

Police were called to Stokes St, Townsville City about 9.30am to reports a man had been stabbed after getting in a fight.

The attacker fled the scene, but was tracked down by officers at City Lane.

Paramedics were called to assist the victim and arrived on Stokes St about 9.50am.

The woman has been taken into custody.
