A learner driver has been clocked speeding on a busy Townsville road at 141km/h.
Officers from Townsville Road Policing Unit spotted the L-plate driver in a silver Mazda 3 travelling at 141km/h on a 100km/h stretch of the Ring Rd at Deeragun about 1.30pm on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old Cranbrook boy was fined $1245 for the high end speeding offence.
