A generous act by a complete stranger has made a toddler’s birthday all the more special.
Neil Gibson was shopping for school lunches with his two-year-old son, Corey, at Deeragun’s Coles on Wednesday morning when they were approached by an unknown woman.
“This lady came up and asked if she could give the little one (Corey) something,” Mr Gibson said.

Accepting the offer, the mystery lady handed over a $150 Coles gift card leaving Mr Gibson shocked and speechless.
The gift was all the more sweeter with Corey’s birthday being today.
“(Corey) gave her a big thank. She was a complete stranger, I have never seen her before,” Mr Gibson said.
“It just goes to shows there’s good people in the world. It gives you that smile.
“Corey’s going to get some extra birthday presents.”
Mr Gibson hoped to pass on his thanks to the mystery woman.
