Multi-vehicle crash near Yabulu builds up Bruce Hwy traffic

A number of people, including a child, were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway.

Emergency services were called to the crash near Yabulu at 2.06pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said five adults and three child were assessed on scene.

A female patient suffered a shoulder injury.

The spokeswoman said two adults and a child were taken to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition while the others did not require ambulance transport.
