People can get festive without the fuss this year at the city’s crowning jewel, Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Tickets are for sale for The Not Fussy Christmas Party! Organiser Emma Perry said the event was to “ultimately say see you later to a s--t year”.
Ms Perry, the owner of Weddings & Events By Prestige HOPE, said she wanted people to come and enjoy themselves after a year marred by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’ve spoken to people who have been in business for 10 years who said: ‘We can’t celebrate being about for 10 years.’
“We want people to enjoy it and relax and see out this period with a cherry on top.”
Godfathers of Funk will provide the soundtrack to the 18+ party.
“They’ll be belting out all the Christmas favourites,” Ms Perry said.
“We’re encouraging everyone to come along in their best country Christmas get up.”
Pulled pork, brisket, mac ‘n’ cheese and other food items are on the menu. People will be able to wash it down with a three-hour unlimited drinks package. Tickets cost $120 a person or if you have a table of 10 or more it’s $100 a person.
The Not Fussy Christmas Party! will be held on December 5.
