Teenage driver of stolen car involved in Jennifer Board’s death arrested in Rasmussen
A teenager allegedly driving a stolen car involved in a fatal crash has been arrested after trying to run from police through the backstreets of Rasmussen.

UPDATE, 2pm: THE teenager alleged to have been driving a stolen car involved in the death of Jennifer Board as been identified.
Gregory Clubb, 18, was arrested at Rasmussen this morning after more than three days on the run since Ms Board’s death on Friday night.
It’s alleged that Clubb was the driver of a Hyundai being dangerously chased by a Holden Statesman, which lost control and hit Ms Board after ramming the rear of the stolen vehicle.
Another 18-year-old man believed to have been in the stolen car at the time was also arrested this morning.
The Townsville Bulletin understands that Clubb and his friends drove another stolen car to Cairns on Sunday after dumping the stolen Hyundai at Garbutt just an hour after the crash.
They allegedly broke into at least two homes in Mt Sheridan and White Rock, evaded police at Parramatta Park and returned south.
The stolen vehicle was allegedly found dumped in Innisfail this morning, but another vehicle was stolen from Mundoo which was allegedly driven back to Townsville prior to the arrests.
Two teenage girls – aged 14 and 15 – were understood to have been arrested in Innisfail.
Police sighted the car in Townsville this morning, and eventually cornered Clubb inside a Rasmussen house.
Around 8.40am, police arrested Clubb in Pinnacle Dr, Rasmussen.
Around 9.25am, police arrested the second man at an address in Josephine Cres, Rasmussen.
The men are assisting with the investigation.
No charges have been laid yet.
BREAKING: A TEENAGER allegedly driving a stolen car involved in a fatal crash has been arrested after trying to run from police through the backstreets of Rasmussen.
Police closed in on an 18-year-old who was hiding inside a Lina St home about 8.45am after he was spotted driving a stolen Toyota HiAce mini-van around the city with two other children inside.
The Townsville Bulletin understands he is alleged to have been driving a stolen Hyundai which was rammed by a Holden Statesman on Friday night, and involved in the death of Jennifer Board, 22.
The stolen car was first spotted speeding along the Ring Rd about 7.15am with two other juveniles in the car.
It was spotted driving dangerously on Elphinstone St and Kern Brothers Dr.
The car was then reportedly spotted on Gollogly Dr about 8am, and again on Santal Dr with a flat tyre a short time later.
A resident on Lina Ct spotted the man jump fences and hide inside a house at the end of the cul-de-sac street.
It is understood police stormed the home and arrested the man.
He was taken to Townsville Watchhouse.
The stolen mini-van was found dumped at the end of Geoffrey St.
The other two juveniles ran from the scene, and one has been arrested.
It is understood the other is still on the run.
