St Patrick’s College students stunned when they stepped out in style and elegance for their Year 12 school formal send off.
The glamorous event has kicked off the start of the official high school formal season for the class of 2024 with dozens more to be held across Townsville in the coming months.
Graduating students from the all-girls’ college arrived at The Ville Resort-Casino in a long procession of luxury and vintage cars, with hundreds of family, friends and fellow students cheering them on as they walked the red carpet.
The event marks the end of a big chapter in their young lives as they prepare for life beyond the school gates.
“We honour this rite of passage as a significant milestone in our students’ lives,” college principal Amber Hauff said.
“This event is a culmination of six years of dedication to their high school education, marking the end of one chapter and the exciting beginning of another.
“Congratulations to our class of 2024 on reaching this extraordinary moment and on all the opportunities that lie ahead.”
