POLICE have charged a 44-year-old South Townsville man with murder following the death of a 52-year-old man in Mundingburra on Saturday.
Homicide investigators were called to the scene at a China Street address on Saturday afternoon after an alleged argument between the two men turned fatal.
The 44-year-old was charged on Sunday afternoon with one count each of murder, possessing dangerous drugs and possess tainted property.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Monday.
Investigations are continuing.
