A mother and her boyfriend charged over the death of Rylee Rose Black have been released on bail, as shock allegations are revealed about the couple’s movements while the child was left to die in a hot car.

A MOTHER and her boyfriend were allegedly bingeing a television series while a three-year-old girl was left in a hot, locked car to die.
The new claims were aired in Townsville Magistrates Court on Monday where Rylee Rose Black’s mother, Laura Black, and her partner, Aaron Hill, were granted bail after being charged with manslaughter over the girl’s death.
The blonde-haired, smiley little girl died after being exposed to intense heat when she was allegedly locked inside her mother’s car for about five hours on Friday.
Police prosecutor Tasman Murphy outlined the alleged events leading up to Rylee’s death, saying Peverill, 37, and Hill, 29, dropped Peverill’s three other daughters to school before heading home.
It is alleged Rylee fell asleep in her booster seat in the back seat of the Toyota Prado, and was allegedly locked inside the car when they arrived back at Hill’s address at Burdell at about 9.50am.
The couple had moved in together on November 18, and they had been together for three months.
Mr Murphy said police would allege the pair never spoke about where Rylee was, and watched television series, Shameless, until it was time to pick up the other children from school.
It wasn’t until the pair were driving to the school about 2.45pm that Rylee’s whereabouts was questioned, he told the court.
“They turned around and seen the victim child’s head slumped over … removed her from her booster seat to attempt CPR,” Mr Murphy said.
The couple rushed to Townsville University Hospital, but it was too late.
A nurse called police, and Black and Hill were charged with manslaughter hours later.
Barrister for Hill, Claire Grant, said her client had no criminal history and deserved to be granted bail, saying the allegation is “one of an unintentional act”.
Hill, a miner, had two other children with his former wife, but the pair separated in March this year.
Magistrate Cathy Wadley submitted that both Hill and Black were an acceptable risk of release, and granted them bail.
Hill will reside at his Burdell home, and Black has been ordered to live at an address in Hervey Bay.
They will face court again on February 24.
A fundraiser was launched on GoFundMe to support Rylee’s biological father and sisters in the wake of her death.
Organiser Leona Boyle said “dear little Rylee Rose” left behind her “devoted and devastated father” and her three older sisters.
No one should experience a loss like this,” she said.
“We are seeking your support to help this loving family get through this tragic time.
“Heartfelt thanks for your donation and words of comfort at this time.”
