No residents were harmed after a two-storey house was engulfed by an overnight blaze in South Townsville.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said the fire was reported on Sixth St at 11.53pm on Monday.
The first of six fire crews arrived at the scene just before midnight to find the house fully ablaze.
By 12.35am on Tuesday, they had the fire under control and everyone accounted for.
The fire was fully extinguished by 2am.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed that they did not treat any patients at the scene.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a crime scene had been established but police were treating the fire as non-suspicious at this stage.
The investigation is ongoing.
