Police called to break up McDonalds brawl, Aitkenvale

15 people were seen brawling in the Maccas Drive-Thru before youths were reportedly seen pushing trolleys off the Stockies carpark.

POLICE were called to a disturbance at Aitkenvale on Saturday afternoon after 15 people were seen fighting inside the local McDonald’s.

A spokesman for Queensland Police said they received calls to attend the Stockland Shopping Centre precinct at 5.10pm after reports 10 to 15 people were seen fighting in the Drive-Thru and inside the fast food outlet.

The spokesman said that the group had walked from a nearby party and began to disperse when police arrived.

No injuries or complaints were reported and QAS were not required to attend.

Not long after passers by reported seeing shopping trolleys being thrown from the Stockies car park.

Police could not confirm this incident but said officers were attending to a number of small incidents in the Stocklands precinct.
