Peak hour traffic impacted by four-car crash in Kirwan

A four-car crash on a busy Townsville road has impacted on the flow of peak hour traffic.

EMERGENCY services raced to the scene of a four-car crash in Kirwan on Monday.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said one of their crews called in the crash after coming across it at the intersection of Bamford Lane and Dalrymple Rd at 4.11pm.

Early reports suggest that one of the crash victims was suffering neck pain and another was in shock.

One lane was blocked by the crash and traffic was seen to be banking up.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
