The state government has launched a push to find the best of the best from across the state – but if you ask us, most of that is in North Queensland.
The government is looking to find the best of fish and chips, meat pies, coffee, parmis, ice cream and more.
Premier David Crisafulli said this Queensland Day was an opportunity to celebrate everything great about the state.
“We live in the best place in the world, and there is so much to be proud of and celebrate this Queensland Day,” Mr Crisafulli said.
“Queenslanders know what makes our State so special, from the best spot for a parmi to their favourite beach. I want them to share what they love about where they live.”
The government is asking people to visit www.qld.gov.au/qldday to vote for All the Bests, but the Townsville Bulletin is also urging you to take part in our survey to find the best of North Queensland.
