Mathew Thompson faces three child exploitation charges

AN alleged child porn producer has fronted the Townsville Magistrates Court charged with three offences.

Mathew Scot Thompson appeared on Wednesday facing one charge of making child exploitation material, one charge of possessing child exploitation material and one charge of using a carriage service to transmit, make available, publish, distribute or promote child abuse material.

Mr Thompson appeared at the bar table with his solicitor Zynal Khan who asked for the charges to be adjourned to next month for mention.

Mr Thompson will reappear in court on May 26.
