Man left with ‘serious’ stomach wounds in Vincent stabbing

A 44-year-old man has been hospitalised with significant stomach wounds as authorities investigate a disturbing stabbing incident in Vincent. Here are the details.

A 44-year-old man has been hospitalised with significant stomach wounds as authorities investigate a disturbing stabbing incident in Vincent.

Police said early investigations indicate a physical altercation occurred on Oliver Court, which ended in a 44-year-old man sustaining a stab wound around 3.20pm on Monday.

Paramedics transported a man in serious condition with “significant abdominal wounds” to Townsville University Hospital, according to Queensland Ambulance Service.

Police said investigations into the circumstances of the stabbing are continuing.
