Festival-goers are preparing to get dusty and dirty with the announcement of the headline acts for an annual outback Queensland event.
The Julia Creek Dirt and Dust festival has revealed its artist line-up that is sure to thrill country fans at the three-day event.
Headlining the Friday night concert will be country-rock singer/songwriter Casey Barnes and headlining the Saturday night concert will be country music band The Wolfe Brothers.
Supporting acts for the event include Australian band Hurricane Fall and Tamworth-based singer/songwriter Jarred Taylor.

Held over the weekend of April 17-19, the festival will celebrate its 26th birthday in 2020.
The event celebrates the spirit of Queensland and features the Artesian Express Race Day, Fashions on the Field, PBR, a senior triathlon and Australia’s Best Butt contest.
Hurricane Fall lead singer and guitarist Jesse Vee said after the success of their 2019 appearance at the festival, they had to return for 2020.
“It feels awesome we are coming back to play new songs off the album and play the favourites for everyone and watch them sing their hearts out,” he said. “The crowd really gets into it and it is a good way to bring people to the town and we are happy to be a part of it again.”
Vee said he was looking forward to jamming with his good friend of 15 years Jarred Taylor at the concert.
Mr Taylor said Hurricane Fall’s 2019 performance had inspired him to play at the concert. “I am absolutely thrilled to be coming because last year I saw photos that Hurricane Fall put up (on social media) and I thought that it looked incredible,” he said. “I thought, ‘I hoped I would be out there and be a part of it one day’.”
Dirt n Dust committee representative Taylor Malone said the country rock concert connected true blue Aussie artists with the bush.
“I think the crowds will be pleased with this year’s line-up, it’s going to keep everyone dancing all night long,” she said.
