The Women’s Society brought women together in a beautiful show of support, community, and compassion for those in need.
The Women’s Society founder Jade Nelson said more than $1200 was raised from the not-for-profit organisation’s Biggest Morning Tea function.
“As you can tell, our theme was Bridgerton but with “something yellow” - to represent the daffodil, the symbol of hope for Cancer Council.
“The ladies did not disappoint and all showed up in the most beautiful way.
“A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, supportive members, and the generous local businesses who always rally behind our cause.”
Jade also gave a special shoutout to Tegan Marsden from Cancer Council Queensland for joining the morning tea as the guest speaker.
Founded in 2022, The Women’s Society is committed to the wellbeing and social inclusion of all women.
