The Cungulla Recreational Fishing and Social Club was awash with pink when locals came together for a vibrant GO PINK trivia night, all in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
With 80 people in attendance, the event was a sea of rosy outfits, flower leis and pink shirts, all proudly worn to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
Event organiser Loretta Woodford said the fundraiser was a heartfelt community celebration filled with connection and a shared purpose.
“Trivia rounds kept guests on their toes, with plenty of giggles, head-scratching moments and competitive team spirit,” Loretta said. “Prizes flowed generously throughout the evening, thanks to the many local supporters and donors who contributed to the cause.
Loretta said the function would not have been a success without the help of volunteers.
“Everyone pitched in with such heart, and we couldn’t have done it without them.”
Funds raised on the night will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, helping support research across Australia.
