The identity of the second person allegedly involved in the death of Kayla Golding has been revealed.
Jamie Alan Mcauliffe, 39, was charged with one count of accessory after the fact to murder.
Mcauliffe’s lawyer Nick Douglas appeared on his behalf and asked for the matter to be adjourned for two days.
Magistrate Ross Mack adjourned the charge for mention on Wednesday.
No application for bail was made and Mcauliffe was remanded in custody.
Emergency services were called to a Riverway Drive unit block about 7.20pm on Friday night and found Miss Golding, 29, bleeding out on the footpath. She had a life-threatening neck wound.
She was taken to Townsville University Hospital in a critical condition but later died due to her injuries
