Police are investigating after a teenage girl was allegedly brutally bashed at The Strand in Townsville.
A Queensland Police spokesman confirmed they received reports a 17-year-old girl had been assaulted by another teenage girl shortly after 9pm on Friday at the popular North Ward jetty.
“Investigators believe the two girls are known to each other,” he said.
