Emergency services called to peak hour crash in West End

Emergency services have been called to a two car crash on a busy Townsville road during the morning’s rush of traffic.

Emergency services have been called to a two car crash on a busy Townsville road.

Police, paramedics and firefighters attended the crash on the intersection of Ingham Rd and Leigh St, West End.

The crash was reported shortly before 8am.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said no one was trapped inside any of the vehicles but patients were treated for injuries.

He said the vehicles had been cleared from the road.

Two people were taken to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition.
