Fire and ambulance crews have responded to a truck on fire on the Bruce Highway south of Ingham.

Queensland Fire Department confirmed they had been alerted to the incident in the vicinity of Jourama Rd, Yaruga, about 25 kilometres south of Ingham about 1pm on Tuesday.

Initial reports were that a B-double was well ablaze.

Queensland Ambulance Service said it had assessed two occupants of the vehicle but they had both declined transport to hospital.
