Top Australian social media influencer Indy Clinton has hired a private investigator to identify the people who have been “trolling”, “harassing” and “defaming” her over the last few years.
Clinton told Sunday Confidential yesterday that she now knows the identities of the “trolls” and would be holding them accountable for their behaviour.
“This is such an important issue,” Clinton said.
“Some of the defamatory things which have been said about me in recent years are extremely distressing. It’s time these people are held accountable.
“At what point does cyber bullying stop? When will these trolls be held accountable? If the platforms can’t help us, this is my first step in making a change.
“I will use my platform and my voice to not only spread awareness but to make an impact. ”When is enough enough? We are past the point of raising awareness. Something needs to happen now. How many more deaths need to happen before somebody is held accountable?
Last month, Clinton was endlessly trolled after undergoing plastic surgery on her nose.
“Lives are being taken,” she said.
“For me - a few months ago - what I endured was life or death.”
While Clinton wouldn’t divulge the identities of those who have been engaging in what she says is illegal activity - yet - she did say to watch this space.
“That’s all I can say right now,”
