Woman dies after freak ceiling collapse at Nanango
A woman trapped under a horror DIY renovation ceiling collapse in a rural home in East Nanango has died, despite the best efforts of paramedics to revive her.

A woman has died in her kitchen after a ceiling collapse during a do-it-yourself renovation at a rural home at East Nanango.
Emergency services were called to the address in South Kerton St about 1.30pm on Monday.
They arrived to find a 64-year-old woman unresponsive under rubble from the collapse in the kitchen.
Paramedics worked to revive the woman, but sadly she could not be saved.
It is understood it was a case of a do-it-yourself renovation project at the home that went horribly wrong.
Police are investigating and will prepare a report for the coroner.
