Truck rollover slows traffic on Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa

A man was lucky to walk away uninjured after his truck rolled on the Warrego Highway, an incident that is expected to take several hours to clear.

Motorists on the Warrego Highway can expect long delays after a truck rolled at Helidon Spa.

Emergency Services were called to the incident at 11.10am on Tuesday and arrived to find the driver had exited the truck with the help of another truck driver.

Paramedics assessed the man at the scene but declined a trip to the hospital.

A witness said the truck’s load shifted as it was turning a corner, pulling it over onto its side.

A Queensland Police Service said motorists can expect extended delays on the highway while emergency services wait for heavy haulage operators to remove the wreck.
