As Covid restrictions ease off, the Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley regions are encouraging residents to pay respects and commemorate those who have served, past and present. Find out where here.

Anzac Day 2021 dawn service in Toowoomba

As Covid-19 restrictions ease off across the nation, residents have been encouraged to attend their local Anzac Day services and marches next Monday.

Those with Covid-19 symptoms are asked to stay at home, while service attendees are encouraged to social distance.

Here are the official service details for 2022:

Toowoomba City: Dawn Service at 5.30am, Mother’s Memorial East Creek Park. Morning Service 9am at Mother’s Memorial with parade from Neil and Margaret streets.

Oakey: Dawn Service at 5.25am, parade at 9.40am and morning service at 10am at the Oakey War Memorial.

Goombungee: Dawn Service at 5.30am, march and morning service at 10.20am at the Mocatta Street Goombungee War Memorial.

Highfields: Dawn Service at 5.10am and morning service at 10am at the Highfields Memorial on Sean McCarthy Way.

Pittsworth: Dawn Service at 4.28am from the Pittsworth Shrine, main service at 9am from Pittworth Cemetary and march from 10.30am

Clifton: Dawn Service at 5.30am, March at 10.30am from the Clifton Swimming Pool, and morning commemoration service at 11am at the Cenotaph at the Clifton Library and Community Centre in Meara Place.

Westbrook: Dawn Service at 5.30am and the Centenary Service will start at 2.30pm at the from the Westbrook Community Hall.

Gowrie Junction: Dawn service at 5.30am from the Gowrie Junction State School Cenotaph.

Kingsthorpe: Commemorative service at the Kingsthorpe War Memorial Hall from 2pm.

Drayton: Commemorative service 7.20am from the Drayton Soldiers Memorial Park.

Jondaryan: Morning service at 8am from Jondaryan War Memorial.

Cecil Plains: March at 9.45am from the old Railway site to the Cenotaph at Henry Stuary Russell Park. Service commencing at 10am.

Millmerran: Dawn Service at 5.30am from Anzac Memorial Park on Campbell Street. Commemoration morning service at 10am, with a march from 9.40am at the corner of Campbell and Mary Streets to the park.

Yarraman: Dawn Service at 5.45am from Yarraman War Memorial. March at 10.45am and Commemoration service from 11am.

Greenmount: Commemoration service at 10am from the Bicentennial Park.

Acland: Commemoration service at 10am from the Tom Doherty Park war memorial.

Cooyar: Morning service march at 10am from Cooyar Hall to Cooyar Anzac Place Ceremony.

Withcott: Morning service at 8am from Withcott Memorial on Meadows Road.

Forest Hill: Service commences 9.15am from corner of Church and Victoria Streets.

Murphys Creek: Service from 10am at the Murphys Creek Grounds.

Laidley: Dawn service at 4.25am from Memorial Park on Patrick Street. March from 10.40am on Patrick Street, and service at 11am from Memorial Park.

Helidon: March from 12.15 at the corner of Turner and Railway Streets, with main service at Helidon Community Centre on Arthur Street.

Gatton: Dawn Service 4.15am at the Weepers Mothers Memorial. March from council building to Weepers Mothers Memorial for service at 10.30am.
