One of the only service stations in the Toowoomba CBD has hit the market, with investors circling it for its long-term national tenant.

The Caltex servo on Ruthven Street in Toowoomba City has been listed for sale through Remax in Brisbane.

Lead agent Deepen Khagram said the expressions of interest campaign had already attracted strong interest after a week on the market.

“It’s been strong, anything that is single tenanted is always well-sought after, especially in this low interest environment,” he said.

“Everyone needs fuel and conveniences and it is one of those recession-proof staples.

“It’s very centrally-located, it’s got three-street frontage and it’s exposed to good traffic.”

Mr Khagram said the Caltex would be rebranded as Ampol as part of a national rebadging in the near future.

The site is currently leased until 2026, with two five-year options in place.
