Roadworks and closures across Toowoomba region this week

Dozens of roads will be impacted by works and closures across the Toowoomba region. Find out which ones here:

The Toowoomba Regional Council has listed a number of road closures and works that will occur from June 10 across the region.

All works are scheduled to be undertaken as advised, weather permitting.

Signage and traffic management measures including detours will be in place, as required.

CENTRAL DISTRICT

Biddeston:

• Oakey Biddestone (Oakey Crosshill Road – Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road): Traffic disruptions will occur during shoulder gravel sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Darling Heights:

• Brock Court: A road closure will be in place on 12 June, 6am to 6pm, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• Dylan Court: A road closure will be in place on 12 June, 6am to 6pm, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• Gorman Street (Baker Street – Handley Street): A road closure will be in place on 14 June, 6am to 6pm, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• Robindale Drive: A road closure will be in place on 13 June, 6am to 6pm, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

East Toowoomba, North Toowoomba:

• Bridge Street and Hume Street Intersection: A road closure will be in place only on Hume Street (northbound and southbound directions) from 28 May for approximately 3 months for an intersection upgrade. Bridge Street will remain open during this closure. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Gowrie Junction:

• Tilgonda Kingsthorpe Road: Traffic disruptions will occur during gravel sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• East Paulsens Road: Traffic disruptions will occur during gravel sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• West Paulsens Road: Traffic disruptions will occur during gravel sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Gowrie Little Plain:

• Sunrise Road: Traffic disruptions will occur during gravel sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Kingsthorpe:

• Gowrie Street and East Street: Traffic disruptions will occur during water main works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Mount Lofty:

• Harvey Street: A road closure will be in place on 15 June, 6am to 6pm, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

North Toowoomba:

• Brook Street (Northern side of Jellicoe Street): A night road closure will be in place from 8 June, 6pm to 6am, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Newtown:

• Glenvale Road (Karrool Street – Hampton Street): Night road closures will be in place on 16 June and 19 June, 6pm to 6am, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Rangeville:

• Perth Street and Curzon Street: Traffic disruptions may occur during stormwater installation works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Wilsonton:

• Industrial Avenue (McDougall Street – Enterprise Street): A night road closure will be in place from 9 June, 6pm to 6am, for an asphalt overlay. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

NORTHERN DISTRICT

Aubigny:

• Aubigny Church Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during medium formation grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• Armitage Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy formation grading flood damage works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• Ciesiolka Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy formation grading flood damage works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Cherry Creek:

• Beckett Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during flood damage works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Crows Nest:

Highgrove:

• Berndale Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during minimum grading works to address hazards. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Irvingdale:

• Dalby Nungil Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during shoulder grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Mount Binga:

• Nukku Road: Road closure with detours in place. Traffic disruptions may occur during road upgrade works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Palmtree:

• Munro Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy formation grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• Pedersen Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy formation grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

• Shum Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy formation grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Pierces Creek:

• Brothers Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy formation grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Quinalow:
