Man suffers critical head injury after bulldozer rolls on rural property

Emergency crews were called to help a seriously injured man after a bulldozer rolled on a property north of Toowoomba.

Emergency services are responding to reports of a man injured after a bulldozer rolled on rural property at Mountain Camp, north of Crows Nest.

Several fire and paramedics crews were dispatched to property near the intersection of Jones Gully Road and Sperling Road shortly after 11.45am.

It’s believed the man had been operating a bulldozer on a private property clearing noxious weeds when it rolled down a steep hill, around 30 metres, leaving him in the cabin.

The man was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

They arrived to find a man aged in 40s with traumatic head and internal injuries.

He was not trapped.

A LifeFlight rescue helicopter was called to the scene and flew the man to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
