Paramedics have transported a man to Toowoomba Hospital in a serious condition after he was crushed at a Torrington workplace.

A man has suffered serious chest and arm injuries after he was crushed by a 500kg weighted object at a Toowoomba workplace

Queensland Ambulance Service reports that paramedics were called to the Allan Court workplace in Torrington about 12.30pm after reports the object had fallen on the man.

He was treated at the scene and transported in a serious but stable condition.

In an unrelated matter, multiple paramedic units were called to the Wilsonton Hungry Jacks restaurant after a report of three people suffering electrical shocks.

A QAS spokeswoman said three people were assessed but did not require hospitalisation.
