Police swarm after teens armed with weapon at Grand Central Shopping Centre
Chaos unfolded at Grand Central Shopping Centre on Thursday afternoon with reports of a group of teens armed.
Four teen have been detained after police were called to Grand Central Shopping Centre to reports of an armed person.
As Queensland Police Service spokesman said the initial report indicated the teens were causing a disturbance with a weapon, near Dent Street at about 1.25pm on Thursday.
“The teenagers were located in relation to the incident and are assisting police with their investigation,” he said.
No one has been physically injured and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Investigations are ongoing.
