Police investigating two-car crash in Kearneys Spring

Police arrived to find a Ford Focus bearing false plates had rolled after crashing into another vehicle. The driver was nowhere to be seen.

Police are searching for the driver of a Ford Focus that crashed into a parked Suzuki Swift and fled the scene before emergency services arrived.

Authorities were called to the crash near the corner of Spring and West streets in Kearneys Spring shortly after 9.10pm on Tuesday.

The Ford Focus was bearing plates registered to a Holden Commodore.

They arrived to find the Ford Focus had rolled, and was bearing registration plates that belonged to a 2008 Holden Commodore.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage but no one was injured.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the investigation was ongoing and asked anyone with information, including dashcam footage, to come forward.
