Police are searching for thieves who stole and torched a Toyota Corolla after it was dumped in Harlaxton.

Police are investigating after a stolen car was located damaged by fire in Harlaxton this morning, October 18, 2024.

Emergency services were called just after 5am on Friday to reports a car was on fire near the corner of Buchanan Street and North Street.

The fire was extinguished by emergency services.

Emergency services arrived to find the car fully alight.

The car, a red Toyota Corolla, was reportedly owned by a local business and was stolen from Newtown on October 15.

Any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
