Plane makes emergency landing at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport after reported issues with landing gear
A light plane has been forced to make an emergency land at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport following reports of problems with its landing gear.

A light aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Toowoomba’s Wellcamp Airport on Monday night.
Rescue services were called to the scene at the airport about 9.30pm, following initial reports there were issues with the plane’s landing gear.
According to online flight data, the Diamond Twin Star operated by Flight Training Adelaide Pty Ltd departed Wellcamp just before 8pm and was returning when it started to circle repeatedly above the airport.
It is understood the plane was in the air when calls were made to ambulance, fire and police services.
The aircraft managed to land without incident just after 10pm and two male occupants did not require transportation to hospital.
Fire crews remained on scene until 10.30pm ensuring the area was made safe, a QFES spokeswoman said.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority has been contacted for comment.
