Authorities said the people who had been on roofs of houses at Grantham have now been rescued by boat. EARLIER Queensland Police Deputy Commissioner Steve Gollchewski said at a press conference; "... my brief is that we have six people sheltering on roofs of houses. We have dispatched Rescue 500 the helicopter to assist with that. There are problems with the weather we’re not certain it will be able to fly into that area. We are also looking at other options to get other aerial assets in there to assist these people. But we do have resources including QFES resources on the ground." Picture Lockyer Council
