Meringandan West man faces court after $66k, cocaine allegedly seized in raid
Police have raided the man’s home and allegedly uncovered a cache of high-value drugs.

A Meringandan West man has been granted bail after police allegedly found a hefty amount of cocaine and steroids at his Darling Downs home.
Officers from the Toowoomba Tactical Crime Squad raided the man’s property on July 10 and allegedly seized 52.4g of cocaine, 780g of steroids, $66,000 in cash and two mobile phones.
As a result the man was charged with five serious drug offences, including two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count of possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.
He has been released on bail to reappear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on August 26.
Investigations continue.
