Almost $18,000 has been raised for the family of a 32-year-old man who lost his life in a tragic crash on the Gore Highway in July.

Almost $18,000 has been raised for a family who lost a husband and father in a tragic car crash last month.
Matthew Murphy sadly lost his life after his ute collided with a truck on the Gore Hwy near Millmerran on Wednesday, July 31.
The 32 year-old’s sister-in-law Kara Wild has launched a GoFundMe in an appeal to help his wife Elyse Murphy and two children who “face an unimaginable future without him”.
To date, the fundraiser has raised almost $18,000.
“I’m reaching out during this incredibly difficult ti me to ask for support in easing some of the financial burdens she (Mrs Murphy) now faces,” Ms Wild wrote on the page.
“Contributions will help cover funeral expenses and allow Elyse to take the time she needs to grieve and care for her children.
“Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page, will make a meaningful difference.
“Your kindness and generosity during this heartbreaking time mean more to us than words can express.”
