Man, 38, charged with multiple offences after foot chase in South Toowoomba
Police allege the suspect fled on foot when he saw them coming, leaping onto a roof and over fences, but it was all for nothing.

A police dog has been injured and a man is in custody after a foot chase through South Toowoomba.
About 1.30am on Wednesday officers were called to a Healy St address where they located an alleged stolen motorbike in a garage.
When officers attempted to arrest a suspect, he fled on foot into neighbouring properties.
He was located a short time later attempting to hide on a roof where he again ran from officers before Toowoomba dog squad tracked the man to a property on South St where he was arrested.
A Toowoomba South man has been charged with seven offences including three counts of unlawfully enter or remain in dwelling or yard and one count each of assault police, obstruct, possess tainted property and injuring a police dog.
He was due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, April 9.
