An 18-year-old Toowoomba woman has added another page to her two-page criminal history after pleading guilty in court to 21 mainly offences of dishonesty.
Kristin Marie Cole represented herself before Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Tuesday to 21 offences including:
* using a stolen bankcard on eight occasions to acquire fuel, food and drink at various Toowoomba stores;
* unlawfully using a motor vehicle stolen in a burglary on February 6 and then trespassing across three Wilsonton residential yards when trying to hide from police after alighting from the vehicle and fleeing;
* scribbling graffiti on the seats and walls of a public bus on which she and friends were riding on March 24;
* unlawfully using a vehicle stolen from a Cotswold Hills home on July 9 which was later found abandoned in Newtown and, despite police finding her fingerprints inside the vehicle, Cole denied ever being in the car.
Her final offence of the 21 matters was stealing a $130 handbag from a Grand Central store, police prosecutor Bettina Trenear told the court.
Cole offered no excuses for her offending.
Warning her she was adding to a growing criminal history at such a young age, Magistrate Kay Phillipson placed Cole on 15 months probation and ordered she complete 10 hours of community service under a graffiti removal order.
