A Rockville man charged with murder arising from allegedly running another man over with his vehicle has had other charges mentioned in Toowoomba Magistrates Court.

Jonathan Wright, 46, was not required to be in the court when charges of entering a premises with intent and stealing from a person were mentioned on Monday but was represented by his solicitor.

Wright, who has been held in custody since his arrest on attempted murder arising from the incident at Withcott on Sunday, November 30, in which police claim he ran down 33-year-old Paul Sia on Toowoomba Connection Road outside Withcott about 3pm that day.

Mr Sia was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he had a third of his brain surgically removed and placed on life support.

Mr Sia died on December 3 after his life support system was withdrawn.

Wright has been charged with murder, two counts of endangering the safety of a person in a vehicle with intent, and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle arising from the alleged incidents of November 30.

He has not been required as yet to enter any pleas to the charges and no police allegations have been made in open court to date.

Magistrate Kay Phillipson remanded Wright in custody and adjourned the case for mention back in the same court on February 20.
